Today’s walk took in Darwen Tower, Belmont reservoir, Great Hill, Roddlesworth Woods and the Royal Arms. There were only 4 of us. A small select group! I just hope the others enjoyed the day as much as I did. Sadly the sun that shone on us for the first hour or so then disappeared behind cloud but the views were still quite good. Blackpool Tower, the outline of the Lakeland Fells, Pendle Hill and Castle Cement were all visible from the top of Great Hill.
