We had a good turn out today for one of Jackie,s Christies charity walk to Simon Fell, starting off at Hill End Pub it is a good climb uphill all the way, we didn’t have the best of weathers as the photos below show, it was misty wet and windy and on the top we had lunch sheltering from the wind behind a wall, suitably refreshed we braved the wet and wind again and followed the boundary fence onto the trig point on Park Fell then headed across towards Fell Close Rocks through the Nature reserve back to the cars.
