Silverdale Walk Thursday 12th March 2020

10 of us met at a lay by re-arranged on route as the car park we were meeting at was about 3’0 under water!! from there we walked east towards Yealand Conyers and onwards past Leighton Hall where we spotted a majestic looking stag and his doe walking into the woods, we then had to wade through flooded footpaths accross Leighton Moss, once on dry land we came accross two benches just perfect for our lunch stop where we had the company of two very friendly robins, we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine but very very strong winds, especially after we left Silverdale and walked along the coast back to the cars. Thank you to Allan for coordinating our walk.
