This walk was scheduled for the previous Thursday but due to bad weather it was changed to Sunday as the forcast was drier. We met up in Sawley and more or less followed the Ribblesdale Way up to Gisburn then headed left along the road to Park House where we encountered a Reindeer! a herd of goats and a Lama! all very friendly, we followed footpaths through Fooden Farm on to Bolton Hall Farm and into the pretty old village of Bolton by Bowland, after leaving the village we more or less followed the river back to Sawley. Although it was a lovely warm day it was still very wet underfoot but i nice day out.
