Pateley Bridge walk Sunday 24th Nov 2019

The club had a brilliant turn out of 19 enthusiastic walkers on Sunday, starting off from Pateley Bridge we ambled along the river Nidd making our way up and down through bog and mud we arrived at the incredibly weird shapes of Brimham Rocks occupying a commanding position above Nidderdale, after having our lunch we returned across the valley back through the mud!!! passing through a beautiful church with no roof! and although the weather was overcast and not sunny and shorts weather as promised we all enjoyed our day out in Yorkshire, even though route finding was a little tricky as our coordinators had a difference of opinions at times and the one with the map was usually going the wrong way!!!! all was forgiven once in the pub with pint in hand. Thanks Peter and Gillian.
