23 of us had a great weekend in Swaledale, the weather was bitterly cold but with clear blue skies and, the colours on the trees were very autumnal, just beautiful.
We had mixtures of walks around the area on Saturday, some went from Muker up to Crackpot Hall, Swinner Gill, and back via Gunnerside, others did figure of eight from Gunnerside taking in Muker and Keld. and 4 went up Fremington edge and back from the Barn.
On Sunday all of us starting from Reeth, one group went up on to Fremington edge, Arkle Town and back round Calver Hill, and a few went along the river Swale to visit Marrick priory then all met up in the Tea shop for well earned tea and cake.
Great weekend thanks Jan.
