We all set off from Hurstwood car Park in beautiful sunshine but a chilly start walking up past Hurstwood reservoir then taking Pennine bridleway east past Cant Clough reservoir where we then followed on to Gorple Stones and Gorple upper and lower reservoirs following onto The Packhorse Pub for refreshments, the weather was so lovely and sunny we sat outside and had our lunch, quite surprising in November!!! We returned via Gorple Cottages/Gorple stones where we followed Pennine Bridleway back to Hurstwood as the sun was going down. Thanks Sue and Kev.
