On Saturday a few of us walked up Hartsop above How onto Hart Crag along to Dove Crag/Black Brow and back down Scandale Pass back to Hartsop, we set off in beautiful sunshine then it turned cloudy then we got pelted with hailstones and on the tops we had a snowstorm!!!!Four seasons in one! In the evening 3 more members joined us for a delicious communal meal organised by Humph plus a few drinks!!!
On Sunday one group caught the ferry in Glenridding to Howtown and walked back up Bannerdale Valley to Boredale Haus spotting lots of Stags and Deer on their way. The other group walked upto Boredale Haus spotting Stags in the Valley then carrying on past Angle Tarn to Rest Dodd seeking out lots more Stags in Ramps Gill Valley, after having our fill of listening to the Stags roaring across the valleys we headed our way back down Hayeswater Gill to Hartsop. Weather was clear and sunny but very very cold!!
