We woke up Saturday morning to lovely sunshine and clear skies, so a few of us set off up to Wetherlam via Hole Rake and Steel edge returning by Keld Gill Head, Levers water and The Coppermines, calling in to the pub for a well earned pint or two. Another group walked up the path to Walna Scar Rd returning by Torver and back along the lake, enjoying tea and cakes and ice creams on the way. Everyone had magnificent clear views all round.
In the evening everyone enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal supplied by several of our members and chatted about our adventures of the day and discussed next days walks.
Today we were blessed again with sunshine, groups split up again with some going to Tilberthwaite, Little Langdale and Slaters Bridge, One went up Coniston Old Man and Dow Crag, the rest walked up to and around Tarn Hows. Thanks to all for great weekend.
