Twenty three club members spent the early May bank holiday in and around Callander in Scotland. The group stayed at the Callendar Hostel and spent their time walking and visiting the local sights. The walks varied in distance and challenge, but the hardy group that tackled Ben Vorlichand Stuc a Chroinon the first day felt that they were at the business end of the operation! Other walks took in a range of Munros and Corbetts including Ben Levi and Ben Venue. After the first day the weather perked up and by the end of the weekend we were basking in glorious sunshine. Less energetic visits to local attractions included a distillery (coffee only consumed!) and the red kite centre. Thanks to Ian for organising a brilliant weekend and for supplying the fantastic photos.
