Arncliffe walk Sunday 17th March 2024

4 of us set off from Arncliffe in the drizzle and headed up the Monks road path, passing lots of limestone rocks and considering the amount of heavy rain we have had over the last few weeks underfoot was fairly dry and firm which is probably due to the well drained limestone. By around 11.00 it faired up and we stopped and had our elevenses and at last managed to see some lovely views, carrying on we walked on up past Middle House Farm onto Gordale beck then turned left and made our way down passing High Linseed Head and down along the edge of Cote Gill to Arncliffe Cote where walked our way back to Arncliffe by the river Skirfare, once back in Arncliffe we enjoyed a well earned pint in the very interesting Falcon Inn. Thanks Tim
